Website use: calculation scope, privacy and help
LambdaCalculator provides calculation tools, worked examples and measurement guides. Each tool has a defined model, units and assumptions. Use the result within that stated scope and check the inputs and product documents before relying on it for a purchase or project.
Calculation scope
Read the formula, input labels, assumptions and limitations attached to the selected calculator. Enter values in the displayed units. A mathematical result does not establish the suitability of a product or the performance of a complete installation or building. Examples illustrate stated inputs; they do not establish requirements for your project.
Product data and professional decisions
Use documentation for the exact product, version and market. Historical examples can explain a method but do not replace current declarations. Structural, electrical, hydraulic and building design decisions require the applicable assessment and competent review; a calculator result is one input to that process.
Saved calculations and privacy
Calculations you choose to save are stored in this browser. Keep an exported backup if you need to retain them; browser storage can be cleared. Read the Privacy page for the current data handling and browser features.
Checking an unexpected result
Record the page, units, inputs and output. Reproduce the worked example and compare your product data and rounding with the formula. Help provides checks you can perform yourself. The service currently has no public support mailbox or report submission form.
Reviewing the current method
Check the Methodology page and the source notes of the tool or guide you use. When source documents or calculation instructions change, recheck results saved earlier against the current method. This page explains use of the present service; it does not certify a project or change the statutory rights that apply to you.
