Multi-placement concrete volume
Sum named rectangular and circular placements, then optionally convert the order volume to whole bags using user-entered product yield.
How to use this calculator
How to measure
Split the work into placements with one consistent geometry and quantity. Names stay in the form only. Copy mixed yield only from the exact current bag label or TDS.
Worked example
Two 1 m³ placements plus one 1 m³ pad total 3 m³. A 10% allowance gives 3.3 m³. At 0.03 m³ per bag, 110 whole bags are required.
Formula and method
Sum each shape volume × whole quantity, apply one allowance, and—only in bag mode—ceil(order volume ÷ entered bag yield). Purchased and surplus yield follow the full bag count.
Assumptions
- Placement names do not affect arithmetic or storage.
- A supplied yield belongs to the exact selected mix.
Limitations
- No default manufacturer yield, mix selection or structural design.
- No pumping, batching, delivery minimum or sequence planning.
FAQ
Is a bag yield required?
Only when whole-bag mode is selected; otherwise no yield is used.
Are placement names saved?
No. Recent stores only calculator metadata.
